Maitland Regional Museum in conjunction with Friends of Grossmann House are hosting the Newcastle Museum's travelling exhibition of FLORA OF THE HUNTER REGION- Endemic Trees and Larger Shrubs. The exhibition opens 10am Saturday 10th April and runs each Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 3pm until 30th May 2021, entry $5.00. On display are plates from the book of the same name by Stephen Bell, Christine Rockley and Anne Llewellyn. As part of the exhibition, the Maitland Regional Museum is offering school holiday activities - two botanical drawing workshops with Gillian Hewitt, “ImagiNaturalist”, for children on Wednesday April 14 from 10-12.00 at Brough House $20.00 per head (all materials provided) and another for older children and adults on Saturday April 17 from 10-12.00 $25.00 per head.
