Dog lovers gathered for shows at both the Mid North Coast Canine Club in Taree and the Murrurundi district Kennel Club in 1964..

But nothing compared to Christmas 1968, when the Central Coast hosted its biggest dog show ever! The Woy Woy Kennel Club show brought in over 800 entries and featured over 60 breeds

And our camera crew got a chance to capture man’s best friend in miniature, as a new litter of Welsh Corgi puppies provided some adorable canine company in 1969
