Back in action: Paramedics returns with more heart stopping stories

Prepare for more unforgettable rescues and heart stopping stories when Paramedics, the gripping factual series that takes you inside the high-stakes world of Australian ambulance crews, returns for another extraordinary season on Tuesday, July 8, at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

This season of Paramedics will again offer viewers unprecedented and unguarded insights into the lives of emergency service heroes as they fight daily to save lives and care for people during their worst moments.

From high-pressure emergencies to moments of compassion and laughter, you’ll see the incredible dedication, skill and resilience required to be on the emergency frontline. Each episode showcases the challenges and triumphs faced by these remarkable men and women as well as the unwavering bonds they share.

In the season premiere, a rider is bucked off her horse and left stranded in remote bushland, unable to move and far from help. Her survival hinges on a daring helicopter rescue. Meanwhile, veteran paramedic Bill responds to a school teacher having a massive heart attack and fights the clock in an effort to keep her alive.

Watch as paramedics Laura and Aaron care for a woman with a high-risk pregnancy as she goes into labour. In a touching first for the series, cameras follow the woman beyond the ambulance and into the delivery room, not to save a life but to welcome one.

Ben and his new paramedic partner, Mim, face a confronting scene: a grandfather with devastating burns after a boiling water accident. At the same time, Lisa returns to work from maternity leave, tending to a sick infant with a dangerously racing heart.

Don’t miss the powerful new season of Paramedics, narrated once again by acclaimed actor and philanthropist Samuel Johnson OAM. Paramedics is a WTFN production for the 9Network.
