NBN Rewind 7 – Telethons
Entertainment and fun for a very worthwhile cause, has always been the sentiment behind an NBN telethon.
Over the years, management and staff at NBN channel three, opened the studios in a quest to raise much needed funds.
The studios were packed with entertainers, and the phone room a constant buzz with volunteers and personalities taking calls from residents making donations.
Children gave pocket money…companies …large cheques, showing the kindness of the people of our community.
NBN’s Telethons Raised over 18 million dollars and touched the hearts of thousands.
