About This Business
A Newcastle health promotion charity, The Kaden Centre delivers exercise therapy to people diagnosed with cancer or a chronic disease. The only purpose built centre of its kind in Australia, The Kaden Centre is helping hundreds of people fight the fight of their lives.
Allied health professionals- physiotherapists and exercise physiologist - prescribe and deliver individualised, targeted exercise programs to patients/clients.
Medical research shows Exercise oncology can improve treatment side effects, mental health, quality of life and potentially prognosis. Studies show 30-60% increase in survivorship and decrease in recurrence.
