La Creche on the Avenue is located in Salonika Street, Parap in The Avenue commercial and residential complex.  We are a 145 place long day care, early learning child care centre and preschool.  In April this year we celebrated 6 years of operation.  Babies and children from 6 weeks through to 5 years are accommodated.  We open five days each week and 52 weeks of the year.  Closed for all NT Public Holidays and weekends.  Our operating hours are from 7.30 am until 5.30 pm.  Our 45 strong staff consists of teachers, educators, chefs and admin.  We have a team of floater staff who boost our ratio, cover for educator's annual and personal leave, carry out any extra duties.

An educational program is provided for all babies and children.  "Home" prepared and cooked morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack are served daily.  Where possible dietary requirements are catered for.  Sunscreen and baby wipes are provided.  Our outdoor areas are spacious and well equipped.  Indoors there are 10 separate rooms, with natural flow of light, well resourced and small groups for the under three year olds.  We boast a very strong, friendly and caring community, and trusting, meaningful, happy relationships with families and children and each other.
